We are currently recruiting a Restaurant Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure the effective management of the Restaurant operating to appropriate standards whilst ensuring guest satisfaction and the necessary controls to provide the required profitability.
• To assist in the management of other food and beverage operations in the hotel as necessary.
• To assist in setting budgets and controls appropriate to ensure maximum profitability in all areas of responsibility.
• To maximize all sales opportunities and to promote a selling environment within the Restaurant.
• To have full responsibility for hygiene and cleanliness standards in the Restaurant.
• To be responsible for staff training and development within the team.
• To manage rosters and payroll costs effectively.
• To carry out Duty Management shifts as required.

 EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

 • 2-3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably within a hotel or a similar standard is essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills required.
• Strong customer focus essential.
• The ability to lead and manage a team effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest standards of service.
• Good financial acumen required as is a demonstrable track record in improving standards and increasing revenue.
